News From Our Nait Intern Chris
Hello all, Chris here with an update. It was quite the hectic first day back! A lot has changed in the seemingly short time that I have been away. Today I met the new addition to the Pre-built side, Melanie Ross and she filled me in on the new project we have going on. Earlier in the month, Melanie began filming a time lapse video for the new home that is soon to launch, and we were also in meetings regarding that very same home. In addition to that new project, we have also begun an office and shop recycling program that I believe is genius. Read more »

Marketing Internship Begins!
January marks an exciting time for 2 NAIT business students as well as Igloo Prebuilt Homes. This month is the start of their 4 month journey into the modular home industry under the wing of the sales and marketing team here at Igloo. TJ Schroepfer and Chris Schmidt are both in their 4th year of the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree program, which is a recent addition to the educational offerings at NAIT. They will be working to develop Igloo’s relationships with realtors across Alberta, with the realtor referral program offered by Igloo. In addition to this goal, the students will be conducting marketing research on target markets across Alberta, more specifically Edmonton and within 150km radius. The students will also be keeping Igloo’s customers and friends updated via the website blog, our Facebook group and our Twitter account. Helping Rebuild Slave Lake
We have banded together with local builders to help the people of Slave Lake rebuild their homes and community. Our aim is to ensure that Slave Lake residients will be in new homes with in 90 days of purchasing their home. Modular building or what we like to call Prebuilt homes allow a quick turnaround time. While the home is being built in our plant all the ground clean up and foundation work can be done.
Families can choose to build one of our exisiting floorplans or bring in their own floorplan.We are working on a one to one basis with Slave Lake community members to make sure they are getting a home customized to their needs and lot size.
